Description:

You will learn the many benefits of diving with a sidemount set up. With one confined water and three open water scuba dives this fun course will teach you properly assemble and configure sidemount scuba diving equipment. It will focus on subjects such as trimming your weight system so that you will experience perfect balance in the water. You will also be taught how to manage your air by switching between stages when wearing two cylinders. You’ll also learn responding safely to potential hazards when sidemount diving.

What you Learn:

You’ll complete the Sidemount Diver Practical Application prior to the required Confined Water Dive. During the Confined Water Dive in the range in between 6-18 meters, you’ll be practicing with the configuration – either single cylinder or two that you will using during the dive.

What you Take:

  • PADI Sidemount section and Knowledge Review One using the PADI Sidemount and Tec Sidemount Diver Manual.
  • PADI Sidemount Diver certification
  • Full equipment rental incl. two tanks & MK 25 regulators

Prerequisites:

  • To become a PADI Sidemount Diver you need to be 15 years of age or older.
  • To enrol in the PADI Sidemount Specialty course you need to have at least the PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent of another training organisation.
  • Please read through the medical questionnaire carefully. If you have to answer any of the medical conditions with a “yes”, then you need to seek approval by a doctor prior to any in-water activities.
